Norweld Elite Trays Feature
1200mm Trundle Drawer with Drop In Table
Store tools, spare parts, recovery gear or use it as a workbench. Dust and water resistant, this rear trundle drawer with drop in table, and updated lock functionality can withstand up to 200kg of load.
Extruded Sideboards
Custom-designed aluminium extruded sideboards with built in stiffeners, complimented with ‘bolt on’ side profile design, colour-coded to match each vehicle.
Updated Lightboard Design
A further innovation on the rear lightboard panel is the ability to replace the entire panel without needing to remove the tray. Fitted with Norweld’s exclusive sequential LED tail lights.
40L or 58L Poly Watertank
Whether cleaning up between jobs sites or having clean water on weekend adventures, having water on the road is an invaluable resource.

The Elite Tray is the newest addition to Norweld’s all star lineup of trays and canopies. Built on the heritage of long-lasting quality, whilst providing a contemporary design styled to suit todays’ modern ute.
Offered alongside Norweld’s existing range of Deluxe ute trays, the Elite tray’s all-new extrusion profile with a bolt-on colour-coded panel brings a more modern and contemporary look whilst keeping uncompromised strength and functionality.
New features exclusive to Norweld’s Elite tray include:
- Lower profile, ‘bolt on’ side profile design, colour-coded to match each vehicle
- Adjusted headboard height to provide clearance for popular ‘Rhino-Rack’ or ARB roof rack with allowance for solar panels and other accessories or modifications
- Complex headboard extrusion in new mandrel bent profile for improved aerodynamics
- Height allowance for inclusion of 130L upright fridge within Norweld’s range of canopies
- Integrated Anderson plug mounts and tie down points in the headboard for securing large items
- 40L water tank for standard dual cabs vehicles, and 58L for extended Toyota Land Cruisers, extra cab and single cab vehicles
- Lightboard design with Norweld exclusive taillights and unique bolt-on panels for ease of replacement
- Constant torque hinges on toolboxes and enhanced drawer design with lock functionality
- Custom made, gravity-fed water filler and tap engineered for standard hose fittings
- Various mudguard options to suit car and wheel designs

Will Norweld still be offering the Deluxe Tray Range?
Yes we are still offering the Deluxe Tray range. The Elite Tray is the newest addition to Norweld’s all star lineup of trays and canopies. Built on the heritage of long-lasting quality, whilst providing a contemporary design styled to suit todays’ modern ute.

Can I get the Elite Tray with Checker Plate Sides?
We love the checker plate sides too. Whilst they are not an option on the Elite Tray, the checker plate are available with our Deluxe tray range. All Elite Trays will have smooth sides to provide a more contemporary style.
What vehicles are compatible with the Elite Tray?
Currently we offer the Elite Tray for the following vehicles:

- Ford Ranger Next Gen – 2022 Onwards

- Toyota Hilux – Dual Cab – 2015 Onwards
We are expecting to have the FullSize, Extra Cab and Single Cab variants available for order at some stage in the back half of the year, dates to be confirmed
Can I get an Elite Canopy Base (i.e no headboard)?
The Elite Tray is only offered as a tray, meaning there is no full-time canopy base option available.
Built to complement Norweld’s range of canopies, the tray sides are easily removed to allow installation of a Norweld canopy.
Using wind off jacks you can take your canopy on and off depending on your lifestyle… load up your tray for work during the week and then drop on your canopy for weekend adventures with your family or your mates.
If you intend on keeping a canopy fitted full-time, we can simply remove the sideboards and tailgate.
